CONNECTIONS 2009 JAZZES THINGS UP
The opening ceremony of a World Union international convention is always a stirring event, and this year will be no exception. After the parade of flags and some inspiring words from convention organizers, delegates will be treated to a video about the exciting and dramatic growth of our movement worldwide and a concert by some of the best professional musical talent in the Jewish world. Singer/songwriter Peri Smilow and jazz musician/composer Mattan Klein, will perform and engage the gathering, several hundred-strong, with a thrilling combination of traditional favorites and new numbers. Music will, of course, be an integral part of the entire convention, connecting and inspiring everyone throughout the event and long after.
The sessions and tours are rapidly filling up, but space is still available if you register today. Leaders of the World Union and the State of Israel, including President Peres and the mayors of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, are hoping to see you there!
